Notre Dame du Mai

This pilgrimage chapel was built in 1625. Its many paintings and votive offerings reflect the region’s strong Christian influence. Perched 350 meters above sea level at the summit of Cap Sicié, it enjoys an exceptional location, offering an impressive view of the open sea and the coastline. Free access by car or bus to the parking lot, followed by a steep 1-kilometer hike. 

Please note: the site is inaccessible by car from June 15 to September 15 (possible extension until September 30), as the road is closed to prevent forest fires.
